Mariupol city: SBU conducts regular anti-terrorist drills
In the JFO area, the Coordination Group of the Anti-Terrorist Center of SBU Donetsk and Luhansk Regional Office held the planned anti-terrorist trainings. The final stage of training took place in the marine waters of Mariupol.
Trainings took place on several city strategic objects in close-to-real conditions. Representatives of regional units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service, the National Guard, the National Police, the State Emergency Service, the State Border Guard Service, state authorities and local self-government took part in the trainings.
The training aimed at increasing the level of inter-agency cooperation during possible sabotage and terrorist threats.
The participants exercised an algorithm of joint actions to neutralize the “criminals” who, according to the legend, planned to commit sabotage in the city and to seize the ship in the Mariupol seaport. The law enforcement took a complex of operational and investigative, counterintelligence measures to detect and neutralize the “terrorists”.
The leadership of the SBU Anti-Terrorist Center analyzed in detail each stage of the special operation, noting the proper qualification of representatives and means involved. Representatives were also provided with additional recommendations on increasing the level of readiness to counter terrorist threats.
