The SBU exposed a representative of an interregional company, which is involved in criminal proceedings on bribing and embezzlement of state budget.

Allegedly, an accountant of a construction company offered a bribe to the official of the Main  Department of the State Fiscal Service of Mykolajiv region. For USD 10,000, the representative of the construction company tried to “resolve the issue” of excluding the company from the list of taxpayers who meet the risk criteria.

It was established that this company is a part of a network of construction companies, which is controlled by the person involved in criminal proceedings for embezzlement of budget money, in particular allocated for the road construction.

The law enforcement exposed the representative in the city of Mykolajiv on attempt of transfering a bribe to the SFS official. 

Currently, the issue of her detention is being decided.

The investigation is ongoing upon the fact of giving a bribe.

The operation was conducted under the supervision of Mykolajiv Region Prosecutor's Office.
