45 Ukrainian defenders have been liberated from russian captivity. This is the outcome of the efforts of the Joint Centre for Coordination of Search and Liberation of PoWs, which carried out the decision of the Coordination Staff on Treatment of PoWs. This exchange, like the previous ones, became possible through hard work and long negotiations.
Two children who had been forcibly transferred to russia from the temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories were also brought back home. The Joint Centre and the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights were involved in their return.
