An aggressor from Russia, taken prisoner by our defenders, says that Ukrainian captivity is better than Russian army.

‘If I had an opportunity to fight for Ukraine, take an oath, move my family and stay here, I would gladly do so,’ a 21-year-old soldier says.

He is surprised that in captivity he is treated humanely, and sees this as a striking contrast to his homeland.

His unit came to Ukraine from the other end of Russia, and the journey lasted about 5 days. When they crossed the border, they saw corpses, about 50 items of destroyed equipment… Then, they realized: this is not a ‘special operation’, but a real war. They wanted to turn around and leave, but were threatened to be shot,’ the prisoner says.

However, he still managed to ‘flee’: 14 occupiers left in direction of Russia, but were later captured.
