Spanish law enforcement agencies detained Anatolii Sharii on May 4, 2022. This became possible due to the close cooperation of the Security Service of Ukraine with the Prosecutor General’s Office, international partners and as a result of a multi-level special operation by Ukrainian law enforcement officers.

This detention is another proof that every traitor of Ukraine will sooner
or later get their comeuppance.

We remind that the SSU suspects Anatolii Sharii of:

• treason;
• violation of citizens' equality based on their race, nationality, religion, disability and other grounds.

According to SSU investigators, his activity was aimed to the detriment
of Ukraine's national security in the information space. There are reasons
to believe that Anatolii Sharii acted on behalf of foreign structures.

The evidence of the investigation is confirmed by a number of expert studies. It is established that in the interviews and speeches of Anatolii Sharii there
are indications of his subversive activities against Ukraine.

He received a suspicion notice last year.

All the necessary investigative and operational measures are being taken
to bring the man to justice.
