In Sumy region, the SBU Military CI detained a serviceman of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on selling a batch of explosives, in particular, three kg of plastid with a detonator.

Allegedly, the offender repeatedly sold the explosives to the militants. As a result, the serviceman was detained by the SBU MCI officers jointly with the SBU CSO “A”.

On the same day, law enforcement officers carried out searches in the suspect's residence and seized another 1.5 kg of plastid.

Criminal proceedings were initiated upon the fact of illegal handling of weapons, rounds or explosives.

The operation was carried out by the Main National Police Department in Sumy region under the supervision of the Sumy Garrison Military Prosecutor's Office.
