SSU Military Counterintelligence and AFU destroy russian Kasta radar in Zaporizhzhia region

SSU officers working in the frontline Zaporizhzhia region tracked down and adjusted fire on the enemy 39N6 Kasta-2E2 long-range radar.

Its cost, depending on the configuration, starts at USD 60 million.

The radar was the ‘eyes’ of the russian air defence system that controlled our airspace. The russians were hiding it in the rear, carefully disguising it and often moving it.

However, it is for such rare targets that the SSU Military Counterintelligence is hunting. So, they were able to track down the radar and direct destructive fire at it.

Donations from Ukrainians helped to make it possible. This set of equipment for reconnaissance and tracking of enemy radars (a ground station for UAVs, a minibus, laptops, power and communication) was purchased by the Come Back Alive Foundation at the expense of volunteer contributions and handed over to the SSU unit that hunts for radars.

Since the start of the full-scale war, the SSU has destroyed a total of 166 russian air defence systems and 446 electronic warfare, electronic and radio intelligence systems on the frontline.

We are grateful to every Ukrainian who joins in and helps our defenders!

Together we will win!
