This year we celebrate the jubilee of the SSU Counterintelligence: for 30 years, you have served our country honestly and faithfully, performing extremely difficult tasks to protect it.

Due to the counterintelligence specifics, this work is often not visible to the public. However, it is extremely important, as you are one of the most combat-effective units of the Service.

Today, as the whole country counters the hybrid war and the enormous pressure of Russia, the role of the SSU Counterintelligence is crucial.

Thanks to your professionalism, citizens of Ukraine can live a normal life and not worry about their security. After all, you counteract not only to intelligence and subversive activities of hostile intelligence services, but also to sabotage and terrorist acts.

Present-day challenges require from counterintelligence units continuous development, dynamic and unconventional response. And you are capable of protecting the interests of our state!

This is exactly what Ukrainian counterintelligence should be - professional, indomitable and effective!
