The SBU CI exposed an IAF member, who fought against ATO forces, in particular, participated in fightings near the Donetsk airport. The terrorist was sentenced in absentia to 10 years in prison.

The investigation showed that the criminal, born in the town of Ocheretne, Donetsk region, joined the terrorist group “Vostok” in May 2014. Being a member of the IAF, he participated in fightings against Ukrainian military and law enforcement near the Donetsk airport, as well as near the towns of Savur-Mohyla, Yasynivka, Panteleimonivka, Betmanove, Pisky and Avdiivka.

As of now, the terrorist is evading justice on the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk region. The criminal was put on wanted list for participation in terrorist organization.

The operation was carried out under the supervision of Chernivtsi Region Prosecutor’s Office.
