DNR Deputy Fuel and Energy Minister detected by SBU CI receives suspicion notice
Due to SBU CI information, the SBU investigators in concert with a prosecutor served a former DNR head a suspicion notice in absentia for participation in a terrorist organization.
Allegedly, in 2014 a resident of Donetsk joined IAF. Later, terrorist leaders appointed him to the post of a DNR Deputy Fuel and Energy Minister.
While holding the position, the offender was engaged in logistics support and fuel supplies for military equipment used by IAF in combat actions against ATO forces. In addition to that, he participated in cooperation between L/DNR gangs and promoted their activity among the local population.
The pre-trial investigation upon creation of a terrorist group or terrorist organization is ongoing. The offender is on the wanted list.
SBU CI officers regularly document crimes committed by members of terrorist organizations and groups for their further prosecution.
