Lysychansk City Court of Luhansk region convicted a FSB agent who collected information on Ukrainian developments in missile industry. The criminal was sentenced to eight years of imprisonment for treason.

We remind that in May 2020, the SBU CI stopped intelligence activities of the recruited resident of Luhansk region.

Following the tasks of FSB curators, the criminal became acquainted with servicemen of a research center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. For money, they had to provide information on the development of Neptune cruise missile system.

The SBU detained the criminal red-handed while trying to transfer secret technical documentation of a modern missile system.

The trial took place due to the public prosecution of Luhansk Region Prosecutor's Office.
