Following SSU investigation, traitor sentenced to 15 years in jail for adjusting enemy strikes on schools and kindergartens in Donetsk region

Following the SSU’s investigation, an agent of russia’s federal security service who operated in Donetsk region, has been convicted to imprisonment. The woman was spying on the locations of the Defense Forces and adjusting russian attacks on civilian infrastructure.

According to the investigation, the russians used her information to launch a missile attack on a local school in August 2022. As a result of it, the building was completely destroyed.

After the hit, the agent arrived at the scene to record the extent of the destruction and send a report to her russian handler.

She also prepared several other coordinates for the strikes on Ukrainian schools and kindergartens. However, the asset did not have time to pass them on to the occupiers as she was detained by the SSU Counterintelligence.

After the SSU’s investigation, the court sentenced the accused to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property.

The traitor is a local unemployed woman who was remotely recruited by the FSB after the start of the full-scale war.

In addition to adjusting enemy fire, the woman reconnoitered locations of Ukrainian troops near Kramatorsk, Kostiantynivka and Toretsk.

The collected intelligence was passed to the enemy via a messenger app.

If the region is captured, the russian service promised its accomplice a ‘position’ in the russian occupation administration.

The court found the perpetrator guilty under Article 111.2 of the CCU (high treason, committed under martial law).

The investigation was carried out by the SSU Vinnytsia Office under the procedural supervision of the regional Prosecutor’s Office.
