Following SSU investigation, spouses of FSB agents who guided russian missiles at Kherson hospital sentenced to 15 years in prison
Based on the evidence collected by the SSU, two more FSB agents who operated in Kherson has been convicted to prison.
The perpetrators were adjusting russian missile strikes on the military and medical infrastructure of the regional center.
It has been documented that in early 2023 they guided attacks at a local hospital.
In January 2023, SSU officers detained both enemy fire adjusters.
Following an investigation by the SSU, the court sentenced the offenders to 15 years in prison.
According to the investigation, the convicts are a civil husband and wife from Kherson.
In early January 2023, they came to the attention of the aggressor when they responded to an FSB “offer” in one of the russian Telegram chats.
After remote recruitment, the agents’ task was to collect intelligence on the deployment of the Defense Forces units.
In addition, the aggressor was interested in locations for treatment of wounded Ukrainian servicemen.
The suspects used a messenger to pass intelligence and received money on bank cards.
Based on the evidence collected by the SSU, the court found the enemy agent guilty under Article 111.2 of the CCU (high treason committed under martial law) and his wife guilty under Article 27.5, Article 111.2 of the CCU (aiding and abetting in high treason under martial law).
The operation was carried out under the procedural supervision of the Prosecutor General's Office.
