Following SSU’s investigation, traitor, who guided russian “Grad” strikes on Nikopol, sentenced to 15 years in prison

Following SSU's investigation, another fsb agent was sentenced to prison. He was adjusting russian missile, artillery, and drone strikes on the frontline territory in the south of Dnipropetrovsk region.

The aggressor used his intelligence trying to destroy the port infrastructure of Nikopol and local shipping facilities.

In addition, the enemy tasked him to establish the locations of the Armed Forces units near the Dnipro River.

However, SSU military counterintelligence officers exposed the traitor, documented his criminal actions, and detained him. As a result, comprehensive measures were taken to protect the Defense Forces from shelling with russian “Grad” rocket launchers, cannon artillery, and kamikaze drones.

Using the SSU materials, the court sentenced the traitor to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property.

According to the investigation, the enemy accomplice is a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

After the start of russia’s full-scale invasion, he was remotely recruited by an fsb officer.

The serviceman attracted the aggressor's attention because of his mother, who lives in the temporarily occupied city of Enerhodar and contacts with the russian special service.

Based on the evidence collected, the court found the offender guilty under Articles 28.2 and 111.2 of the CCU (high treason committed by a group of persons under martial law).

The operation was carried out by the SSU Office in Dnipropetrovsk region under the supervision of the Specialized Prosecutor's Office for Defense in the Eastern Region.
