Following SSU investigation, traitor who helped enemy strike Pokrovsk defenders with guided aerial bombs sentenced to 15 years in prison

The SSU has collected evidence on another FSB agent who adjusted enemy attacks on Ukraine’s Defense Forces in Donetsk region.

The perpetrator passed to the aggressor the geolocations of staffs and strongholds of Ukrainian troops in Pokrovsk sector.

The enemy also intended to target firing positions of rocket artillery and bases of AFU armored vehicles.

According to the investigation, russia was preparing targeted strikes with guided aerial bombs on these coordinates.

The SSU detained the traitor in January this year. Action was taken to protect the positions of Ukrainian units.

The enemy accomplice is a resident of Myrnohrad, Donetsk oblast, recruited by the FSB remotely.

In gather the intelligence, the agent walked around the frontline area, watching Ukrainian positions. He made marks on Google maps and sent them to his FSB handler.

Based on the SSU’s investigation, the court found the accused guilty under Article 111.2 of the CCU (high treason, committed under martial law) and sentenced to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property.

The investigation was carried out by the SSU Office in Donetsk and Luhansk regions under the procedural supervision of Donetsk Region Prosecutor’s Office.
