Following SSU’s investigation, heads of Stanytsia Luhanska district occupation administration face 15 years behind bars

The SSU has collected irrefutable evidence proving the guilt of another three officials-collaborators who cooperate with the enemy and are in the temporarily occupied part of eastern Ukraine.

The offenders are the former head of Stanytsia Luhanska civil and military administration and his two deputies.

After the district was seized, they were among the first to support russian invaders and offer them assistance in the war against Ukraine.

For this, they were appointed to head the ‘LNR administration of Stanytsia Luhanska district’ created by the aggressor.

In their ‘positions’, the traitors fulfil moscow’s tasks to spread the kremlin regime and suppress the resistance movement in the area.

To execute enemy orders, they urge locals to join the occupation groups and ‘report’ to ruscists on the resistance movement members.

The ‘officials’ also facilitate forced ‘passportization’. In case of refusal to obtain russian citizenship, they threaten with persecution and physical violence.

Collaborators try to ‘rearrange’ the work of local enterprises in favour of the aggressor state and force them to pay ‘taxes’ to the russian budget.

Based on the collected evidence, SSU investigators notified the offenders of suspicion under the Articles 28.3, 111.1, 111-1.5 of the CCU (high treason and collaboration, committed by an organized group).

The indictments have been sent to court.

The accused face up to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property.

The SSU is acting to bring the collaborators to justice.

The investigation was carried out by the SSU Office in Donetsk and Luhansk regions under the procedural supervision of the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office in the Military and Defence Sphere.
