Following SSU’s investigation, two spotters who guided russian missiles on Kramatorsk and Bakhmut sentenced to 8 years in jail
Following the SSU’s investigation, another two informants of russian intelligence services have been convicted to imprisonment. They adjusted russia’s air attacks on combat positions and military infrastructure of Ukraine’s Defence Forces in Donetsk oblast.
The enemy’s main targets were fortified areas, as well as locations where Ukrainian air defence units and multiple launch rocket systems could be based in Kramatorsk area.
In another episode, using the coordinates provided by the agents in question, the invaders tried to strike firing positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Bakhmut.
The SSU timely identified and detained both traitors as a result of counter-sabotage efforts near the frontline in Donetsk region.
Given their cooperation with the investigation, the court sentenced both accused individuals to 8 years in prison.
One of them is a 20-year-old resident of Kramatorsk who actively spread pro-kremlin narratives on various social media. In this way, he came to the occupiers’ attention and they later recruited him remotely.
The second convict is also a local resident. The man was in touch with the ruscists through a militant of the russian-controlled ‘LNR’s people’s militia’.
Based on the evidence, the court found both perpetrators guilty under Article 114-2.3 of the CCU (unauthorized dissemination of information on sending, transfer of weapons, movement, transfer or deployment of the AFU, committed under martial law).
The investigation was carried out by the SSU Offices in Cherkasy, Donetsk and Luhansk regions under the procedural supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office.
