Following SSU’s investigation, terrorist Givi’s bodyguard sentenced to 13 years in prison
Basing on the evidence collected by the SSU, court sentenced a militant of the terrorist organization ‘dnr’ to 13 years in prison.
Since 2016, this traitor had been fighting in the ‘dnr’ illegal armed groups. After putin announced the ‘special military operation’, the individual in question participated in the full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
The militant was captured during a military operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in August this year.
He is known as a bodyguard of terrorist ‘Givi’, who headed the illegal armed unit somali battalion. Together, they used to give interviews to ‘dnr’ pseudo-journalists.
Now, the terrorist learnt that crimes against Ukraine have no statute of limitations.
During the court hearing, the militant pleaded guilty and gave incriminating evidence.
Shevchenkivskyi District Court of Kyiv found the traitor guilty of the crimes under Articles of the CCU: 111 (high treason), 258-1.3 (creation of a terrorist group or terrorist organization), 260-2 (creation of paramilitary or other unlawful armed formations) and convicted to 13 years in prison with confiscation of property.
The SSU Main Investigation Department together with the SSU Military Counterintelligence Department carried out the investigation under the procedural supervision of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
