The SSU has collected irrefutable evidence proving the guilt of another 91 russian state duma members who contributed to unleashing of a full-scale war against Ukraine.

18 of them have been sentenced to 15 years in prison, while indictments against another 73 russian MPs have been sent to court.

The investigation established that on 15 February 2022 these officials supported a resolution to appeal to the russian president requesting to recognize the ‘independence’ of the temporarily occupied parts of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts.

On 22 February, they voted to ratify the so-called ‘treaty of friendship, cooperation and mutual assistance’ between the kremlin and the terrorist organizations ‘L/DNR’.

moscow used this decision as a formal basis for launching a full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine.

The SSU investigated these facts under Article 110.3 of the CCU (encroachment on Ukraine’s territorial integrity and inviolability).

Since the 18 convicted russian MPs are currently in russia, they will begin serving their sentences on the day of their detention.

The SSU Offices in Ivano-Frankivsk and Rivne regions carried out the investigation under the procedural supervision of the regional prosecutor’s offices.
