At SSU’s initiative, russian defence company’s assets worth USD 5.5 mln seized
Based on the SSU’s investigation, the High Anti-Corruption Court upheld the claim of the Ministry of Justice on the transfer of products of the russian enterprise Rostvertol JSC to the revenue of Ukraine.
The case concerns a batch of components for combat helicopter control systems, which a factory in Lviv manufactured for the Rostov company under a contract of 2011.
The total value of the seized products is almost USD 5.5 mln.
JSC Rostvertol is a key enterprise in russia’s military-industrial complex, producing helicopters for the occupation troops.
The russian entity had hoped to receive its order from the Ukrainian plant back in 2014, before the aggressor’s invasion.
However, the SSU Counterintelligence blocked the transfer of helicopter components to russia.
After the confiscation of the seized items, the SSU will initiate their transfer to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The efforts to nationalize russian property were carried out by the SSU Office in Lviv region.
