Seizure of twelve Russian planes according to SBU findings
SBU investigators documented regular violation of the rules of international flights by Russian airlines. According to the SBU findings, the court arrested 12 more planes illegally flying to annexed Crimea.
Within initiated criminal proceedings, the SBU recorded numerous cases of violation of Ukrainian airspace, in particular by Russian carrier aircraft.
The Kherson City Court of Kherson Region arrested 12 aircraft of a private Russian airline company for illegal movement of persons across the state border of Ukraine and violation of international flights regulations.
To remind, the SBU investigation resulted in seizure of 199 aircraft performing regular passenger air transportation to the temporarily occupied peninsula, violating international flight rules and Ukrainian legislation.
Law enforcement officers requested the National Central Bureau of Interpol in Ukraine to enter 109 previously arrested planes into the international database.
