Following SSU’s investigation, court sentences another 15 ‘L/DNR’ militants to 15 years in prison: together with ruscists they looted grain elevators in Kherson oblast
The SSU Cyber Security Department has collected irrefutable evidence proving the guilt of 15 members of the ‘L/DNR’ terrorist groups.
After February 24, these men, who lived in the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, voluntarily joined russian occupation groups. Some of them were snipers and grenade launchers.
As part of the 2nd army corps of the Southern military district of the russian armed forces, they took part in combat against Ukrainian Defence Forces on Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv and Donetsk directions.
The militants also carried out the kremlin’s instructions to loot local grain elevators and illegally transport Ukrainian grain from the temporarily occupied Black Sea regions of Ukraine to the aggressor state.
The ‘fighters’ were captured by Ukrainian defenders during a counteroffensive on the southern and eastern fronts.
Following the SSU’s investigation, court sentenced them to 15 years behind bars.
Based on the collected evidence, court found them guilty of crimes under the Articles of the CCU:
- 111 (high treason);
- 111-1 (collaboration).
The SSU reminds: punishment for crimes against Ukraine is inevitable.
The SSU Cyber Security Department carried out the investigation jointly with the investigators of the SSU Poltava Office under the procedural supervision of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
