Following SSU and National Police investigation, court imposes one of the first prison sentences for arson of defenders’ vehicles
Based on the evidence collected by the SSU, the arsonist, who was fulfilling russia’s orders in Kirovohrad region, has been convicted to 6 years in prison.
The decision was passed by Oleksandriya Town and District Court of Kirovohrad region.
According to the investigation, the perpetrator is a 28-year-old resident of Oleksandriya. The woman came to the enemy’s attention when she was looking for easy money on Telegram channels.
On instructions from the aggressor, she set fire to a service pickup truck of a National Guard officer.
To report to her handler, she recorded her actions on video.
The SSU and the National Police detained the arsonist ‘red-handed’, immediately after the crime.
Based on the evidence, the court found the accused guilty under Article 114-1.1 of the CCU (obstruction of lawful activities of the AFU and other military formations).
The investigation was carried out by the SSU Office in Kirovohrad region under the procedural supervision of the regional Prosecutor’s Office.
