Following SSU’s investigations, another 3 russian Internet agitators sentenced to prison terms

The SSU has gathered irrefutable evidence proving the guilt of another three pro-kremlin Internet agents who carried out information and subversive activities against Ukraine.

In banned social networks, they publicly justified the occupiers’ war crimes and questioned the existence of Ukrainian statehood.

Following the SSU’s investigations, the courts sentenced them to up to five and a half years in prison.

In Cherkasy region:

The court convicted a repeat offender, who had already been prosecuted for disseminating enemy propaganda after the start of the full-scale invasion.

This time, the agitator placed posts on the russian social network Moy Mir [My World] in support of ruscists and the seizure of territory in eastern and southern Ukraine.

In Ivano-Frankivsk:

A local resident was sentenced to prison for publicly glorifying russian invaders and spinning fakes about the activities of the Defence Forces.

The woman picked up most of the destructive content from the pages of kremlin’s ‘media’ propagandists, including Yuriy Kotenok and Tatiana Montyan.

In Vinnytsia:

Another agitator was convicted: a local who on his page in the banned social network Odnoklassniki approved russia’s armed aggression and called for offensive actions against Ukrainian defenders.

Based on the evidence collected, the courts found all three offenders guilty under Article 436-2 of the CCU (justification, recognition as lawful, denial of russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine, glorification of its participants).

The investigations were conducted by the SSU Offices in Vinnytsia, Ivano-Frankivsk and Cherkasy regions under the procedural supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office.
