Following SSU’s investigation, two russian accomplices sentenced for depriving people of food during Kharkiv region occupation
Based on the evidence collected by the SSU, two more accomplices of the aggressor, who worked for the russian invaders during the occupation of part of Kharkiv region, received real prison terms.
One of the offenders, a resident of the village of Tsyrkuny, faces ten and a half years in prison. According to the investigation, after the seizure of the village, he helped the occupiers learn the area and rob the homes of residents.
It was established that the traitor, together with armed russian servicemen, broke into the homes of Ukrainians, and seized food supplies, cars and generators.
During such "raids," the ruscists even deprived children and the elderly of food, and in case of refusal or resistance, threatened to imprison them in a torture chamber and kill them.
For his cooperation with the occupiers, the offender was allowed to move freely around the village.
SSU officers detained him during stabilization measures in the liberated territory of the region in May 2022.
Following the SSU’s investigation, the court found the traitor guilty under Article 111-2.1 of the CCU (aiding the aggressor state).
The other convicted person is a resident of Kupiansk district who passed intelligence to the fsb on the deployment and movement of the Defense Forces in the area.
The aggressor was in particular interested in the locations of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' weapons and ammunition depots to adjust missile, artillery, and drone attacks against them.
According to the investigation, the russian intelligence service remotely involved the woman in cooperation after the start of the full-scale invasion.
The SSU established the spy’s whereabouts and detained her in her home after the area was liberated.
Based on the evidence collected, the court found the offender guilty under Article 114-2.2 of the CCU (unauthorized dissemination of information on the movement, relocation, or deployment of the Armed Forces committed under martial law).
The investigation was carried out by the SSU Office in Kharkiv region together with the National Police under the procedural supervision of the regional Prosecutor’s Office.
