Following the SSU’s investigation, a traitor from Odesa, who was going to swear allegiance to the terrorist organization ‘dnr’, will spend the next 15 years in prison. This decision was made by Saratskyi District Court of Odesa region.

Based on the evidence collected by the SSU, this supporter of ruscists was found guilty under two Articles of the CCU:

• 111.2 (high treason);
• 258-3.1 (creation of a terrorist group or terrorist organization).

The SSU Chernivtsy Office detained the traitor in July 2022 in Zaporizhzhia oblast.

According to the investigation, with the beginning of russia’s full-scale invasion, this resident of Odesa region established contacts with the leadership of the ‘dnr’ and the so-called ‘dnr ministry of internal affairs and ministry of state security.’

Instructed by his handlers, the traitor began to administer an anti-Ukrainian group in the blocked social network VKontakte, through which he organized fundraising for the ‘dnr army’.

In his posts, the enemy accomplice justified russia’s armed aggression, called to undermine Ukraine’s territorial integrity, glorified russia and its armed forces, spread fakes and discredited Ukrainian defenders.

Later, the traitor agreed to swear allegiance to the terrorist organization ‘dnr’. To do this, he planned to go to the territory of Donetsk region controlled by ‘dnr.’

The criminal even prepared a ‘bonus gift’ for the enemy: information on defence and mobilization in Odesa region. He obtained this data through his contacts in local authorities, established earlier. After all, in the past he repeatedly ran for member of one of the district councils.

However, this plan failed - the SSU detained the traitor.

The convict will spend the next 15 years behind bars.
