Notified suspicion to russia`s central electral commisson over fake elections

New crimes of the chair of the Central electral commission, Ella Pamfilova, have been recorded on the grounds of her engagement into waging aggressive war not in favour of Ukraine.

As stated by the investigation, over spring of this year the alleged set up a colossal fraud of illicit election results, held onto the seized territories of Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

The Kremlin spin doctor Pavel Andreev, assigned as the representative of the russia`s central electoral commission in 2021, along with his co-worker Lyudmila Markina were dealing with the matter under the guiding hand of the alleged.

Supervised by Pamfilova, they happened to partake in setting up of occupation territorial election commissions and a phony legitimization of the fake plebiscite. In this regard, the accomplices casted their votes for initiating pseudo-electoral institutions on the occupied Ukrainian territories attracting local collaborators.

Following the staged elections, Pamfilova's associates attested to the trumped-up results of the forced expression of will.

The investigation revealed that the chair of the russia`s CEC personally supervised the financing of the invading 'election commissions', covering the 'salaries' of their representatives and the expenses for the printing of 'ballots'.

Besides, Andreev was instructed to arrange a public airing of the election process inside the temporarily occupied regions of Ukraine. It meant to make up staged news stories on russian media simulating the massive number of voters and scripted comments from local residents allegedly supporting the Kremlin's candidates.

In light of the available evidence, the SSU has served all three russian officials notices of suspicion in absentia stipulating the relevant articles of the CCU:

  • Part 5, Art. 27 and para. 2 Art. 437
  • Part 5 Art. 27, Part 3, Art. 110

In August of this year, based on the SSU materials, Pamfilova was notified in absentia of suspicion for preparing illegal elections in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

As the suspects are on the territory of russia, complex measures are being undertaken to bring them to justice for the crimes against Ukraine.

The investigation was held under the supervision of the Prosecutor General's Office.
