Due to SSU and Prosecutor General’s efforts, Ukraine nationalizes 6 companies controlled by russian oligarch
Based on the investigation by the SSU and the Prosecutor General’s Office, the High Anti-Corruption Court upheld the claim of the Ministry of Justice to transfer assets of sanctioned russian oligarchs, including Miron Gorilovsky, to Ukraine.
The case pertains to six Ukrainian companies that are part of the Polyplastik Group industrial conglomerate, in which the oligarch owned shares through controlled entities.
The Poliplastik Group is controlled by russian entrepreneurs and is one of the largest producers of polymer pipes and composite polymeric materials in Europe.
According to the investigation, Gorilovsky’s russian companies supply their products to military bases, factories and occupation authorities of the aggressor state, including in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
The russian monopolist’s enterprises are also involved in the production of components for small arms of the russian armed forces.
In this way, the person in question and his accomplices finance russia’s war against Ukraine.
According to the investigation, Gorilovsky owned Ukrainian branches through third parties and offshore companies.
The court has now ruled to seize the corporate rights of these companies to be owned by Ukraine to ensure their uninterrupted operation for the benefit of our country.
The investigation is ongoing.
Efforts to nationalize the assets were carried out under the procedural guidance of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
