The Head of the Security Service of Ukraine Ivan Bakanov introduced Oleh Holovash, the newly appointed head of the SSU Main Directorate in Kyiv and Kyiv region, to the personnel.

"I hope that along with the appointment, the work of the Directorate will be intensified. And most importantly - there will be new results. Of course, your Directorate must respond clearly and coherently to any challenges. After all, the concept of security is now gaining new meaning” said the Chairman of the SSU.

He called on the Service to pay special attention to the areas of counterin-telligence and cybersecurity, protection of national statehood and critical infrastructure, the fight against terrorism and sabotage, and combating var-ious manifestations of hybrid warfare.
