Women comprise one third of the SSU team. Over 300 women occupy senior positions in the rank of Colonel.

In October 2018, a female SSU officer was ranked General for the first time in Ukraine. Our colleague, the Chief of the Military Medical Department, became Ma-jor-General of Medical Service.

In March 2020, Yuliia Laputina, Deputy Chief of the Department of Counterin-telligence Protection of State Interests in Informational Security Sphere, was pro-moted to the rank of Major-General.
