SBU investigation helped to sentence the resident of Konotop for illegal sales of weapons and military destruction means to three years of imprisonment.

According to the investigation, previously convicted for sale of drugs man sold weapons from the Joint Forces Operation area. The attacker sold dangerous goods to representatives of local criminal circles.

The law enforcement officers detained dealer at the end of 2019 during another attempt to sale two grenades with fuses and rounds of automatic weapons.

Konotopskyi interdistrict court of Sumy region found offender’s guilty of committing the crime under Part 1 Art. 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The verdict came into force.

The investigative and operative actions on bringing to responsibility other people involved in the sale of weapons are under way.
