The SSU Military Counterintelligence is responsible for a wide range of tasks: from preventing infiltration of foreign intelligence agents into Ukrainian troops to counterintelligence protection of our country’s defense potential.

Only in the first year after russia’s full-scale invasion, Military Counterintelligence uncovered dozens of enemy agents.

Military Counterintelligence is one of the Service’s units performing combat missions on the frontline.

Another important task of this Directorate is to block the illicit trafficking of military munitions to prevent their use for sabotage, terrorist attacks or other serious crimes.

In addition, together with the commands of military units, the SSU Military Counterintelligence is working to strengthen the counter-sabotage protection of military installations.
