SBU uncovered large-scale misappropriation at the facilities of the State Enterprise «Berehivskyi quarry» property complex in Zakarpattya region. 

Representatives of the private joint-stock company rented capacities of the State Enterprise for mining of mountain resources, in particular perlite. At this, the officials of the commercial structure illegally sold more than 20 automotive vehicles and equipment of the integral property complex.

Unlawful actions of the involved persons caused losses to the state in the amount of 2.7 million hryvnias, which was confirmed by the conclusions of forensic economical expertise.

At present one of the heads of the joint-stock company was served a notice of suspicion of committing a crime stipulated by Part 5 Art. 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The investigative actions on bringing to responsibility other persons involved in the deal are under way. The exposure was conducted with the National Police investigators under the procedural supervision of Prosecutor's Office of Zakarpattya region.
