Operatives of the SBU Main Directorate of Internal Security detained in Vinnytsia the state inspector of tax and customs affairs in Vinnytsia Customs of the State Fiscal Service, who offered a bribe to the SBU official.

Within the framework of the initiated criminal proceedings, it was established that the customs officer tried to transfer USD 1000 to the SBU regional office official. In this amount, the attacker estimated the forgery of materials and non-serving to him suspicion note in criminal proceedings, in which the SBU official discharged a commission of the investigator. SBU official immediately reported his head about obtaining of the unlawful proposal.

Law enforcement officers detained the state inspector of tax and customs affairs on the central square of the regional center while attempting to transfer the entire amount of a bribe.

The pre-trial investigation under Part 2 Art. 364 and Part 3 Art. 369 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine is under way.

The detection operation was conducted with the Territorial Administration of the State Bureau of Investigations, located in Khmelnytskyi city and the SBU Office in Vinnytsia region.
