SBU CI Department extracts ex-minister of “coal industry of DNR " to the territory under Ukraine’s control (video)

SBU CI Department officers in due course of the special operation extracted to the territory controlled by Ukrainian authorities one of the former “ministers of the coal industry" of the “DNR” terrorist organization.

Operatives and investigators of the special service found that the pseudo-official attended the "DNR government" meeting regularly and took an active part in the formation of the internal policy of the “relevant ministry".  He, in particular, carried out regulation of activities of coal mining industry and distribution of energy resources in the temporarily occupied territories of the Donetsk region.

After dismissal from office, the attacker started his own business in the “DNR", tried to distance himself from the work in the "government" of pseudo-republic and reflected upon returning to the territory controlled by Ukrainian authorities. He returned to the peaceful regions of Ukraine through a special operation developed by the SBU.

Immediately after the extraction from the so-called “DNR", he officially issued a corresponding application to the SBU, in which he reported on his participation in the functioning of illegally formed in the occupied territories of “power bodies”. A man provided detailed testimonies of specific facts about the direct Russia’s involvement in the process of occupation of separate districts of Donetsk region. The “ex-minister" also proved involvement of Russia’s civil servants, who are in the occupied territories of Donetsk region as "advisers", in the organization of criminal schemes on embezzlement of budget funds of Russia, allocated for functioning of coal-industrial complex facilities of pseudo-republic.

Currently in the framework of criminal proceedings initiated under Part 1 Art. 258-3 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, investigative actions are ongoing.

The check of possible involvement of the involved person in commission of crimes during his tenure in the "senior positions of DNR" is being conducted.
