SBU Main Directorate of Internal Security officers exposed in Volyn region former MI official on fake dealing in offices in the SBU regional Office.

Operatives of the special service have found that the offender offered to his acquaintances among acting and ex-law enforcement officers employment in the SBU. He has represented himself as a Service official and guaranteed employment to the plum jobs.

Law enforcement officers, in particular, documented one of the proposals to arrange a candidate for USD 5,000 in a position in the SBU Office in Volyn region.

In the framework of the criminal proceedings initiated under Part 3 Art. 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, the investigations are ongoing. The issue of serving a notice of suspicion to the detainee is under consideration. A possible involvement in the illegal activities of the SBU Office in Volyn region officers is checked.

Procedural guidance is carried out by prosecutors of the Military Prosecutor's Office of the Lutsk garrison.   

The operation was conducted with the State Bureau of Investigations Territorial Administration in Lviv city under the procedural supervision of the Military Prosecutor's Office of the Lutsk garrison.
