SBU uncovered taking of lands of one of the state enterprises of forest-hunting range in Zakarpattya region.

SBU operatives have established that the former director of the local government of StateGeoCadastre with the official of one of its departments are possibly involved into the illegal transfer of 4 land plots of the forest-hunting range under private ownership. According to preliminary information, the suspects illegally reissued on 

the local residents the territory of the state-owned enterprise with a total area of 6 hectares, which, subsequently, was resold to the third persons.

The individuals involved in the crime for conducting this fraud entered false data to the technical documentation for the withdrawal of the specified territory from the State fund.

Currently the examination of damages resulting from unlawful activity is under way. 

Former official of the StateGeoCadastre department was served a notice of suspicion under Part 1 Art. 364 and Part 1 Art. 366 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The issue of choosing a measure of restraint is being settled.

The investigative and operative actions on identifying and bringing all the individuals involved to the criminal responsibility are under way.

The detection operation was conducted under the procedural supervision of the Prosecutor's office of Zakarpattya region.
