Joint group of the Security Service of Ukraine and units of the counter-subversion fight of the Joint Forces Operation have found cache with military destruction means in Luhansk region.

The place of illegal storage of weapons was equipped in derelict building on the outskirts of Popasna. SBU officers seized from the cache two TM-62 anti-tank service mines with a total weight of 14 kilograms of trotyl.

The information on alleged involvement of illegal armed groups’ militants in equipment of the cache is being checked. Within the framework of initiated criminal proceedings under Part 1 Art. 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine the investigations are under way. The detected destruction means were disarmed by bomb technicians of the State Emergency Service.
