Security Service of Ukraine suspects a senior inspector of one of the structural units of the Main Directorate of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection in Poltava region of receiving the bribe.

Investigation indicates that the inspector of the Department of administrative and economic management demanded from a local resident a bribe of the amount UAH 12,000 (USD 480).  In his turn, the official promised to register his agricultural equipment under the simplified procedure without the required documents.

Law enforcement officers documented several facts of receiving bribes by offender. Law enforcement found the entire sum of the bribe at his office.

The issue of serving the official a notice of suspicion of the crime under Part 3 Art. 368 is being decided.
