SBU officers detected and terminated activities of four gambling houses, which contrary to the legislation, operated in Khmelnytskyi city.

Law enforcement officers conducted investigative actions in the premises where, according to intelligence, the illegal business has taken place. According to the results of searches, more than 70 items of computer equipment, video recorders, money, as well as draft recordings were seized.

Within the framework of criminal proceeding initiated under Part 2 Art. 364 and Part 1 Art. 203-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, the investigations are ongoing. All the circumstances of the case and the circle of persons, including law enforcement officers, may be involved into the organization and “protection racket" of the gambling houses are being established.

The measures to expose the offenders were conducted jointly with the State Bureau of Investigations, located in Khmelnytskyi city.
