SBU stops separatist’s internet-agitation in Kyiv

The Security Service of Ukraine in Kyiv stopped the propagandist spreading separatist appeals and ideas of the so-called "russkii mir" through the Internet. 

Allegedly, a resident of Kyiv affiliated with Kremlin-backed civil movement, which was used by Russian special services in information warfare against Ukraine. He was ordered to post appeals to overthrow the constitutional order in Ukraine.

For this activity an agitator received payment on accounts of Russian banks.

During the investigation the law enforcement found evidence proving his links with Kremlin-backed civil organizations, Russian banks and press card of Russian media.

The investigators served the offender a notice of suspicion under P.2 Art.109 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.  The investigation is ongoing.
