In Luhansk region, the SBU uncovered a prosecutor of Starobilsk Prosecutor’s Office on divulging state secrets.

Within the pre-trial investigation, the law enforcement established that, contrary to his duty to protect state secrets, the prosecutor disclosed to a court employee information about the investigation in criminal proceedings conducted by the Police. Therefore, he disclosed the information that is related to the state secrets.

The investigators of the Territorial department of the State Bureau of Investigations served a notice of suspicion to the prosecutor for disclosure of state secrets.

The investigation is ongoing.
