The SBU officers exposed and terminated activity of two clandestine gambling establishments that operated in violation of law and quarantine governmental restrictions in Kramatorsk town.

Allegedly, both underground halls belonged to one of the leaders of local criminal circles. The law enforcement established that illegal establishments were equipped with CCTV cameras and operated without advertising under the guise of sports poker and Internet clubs. Furthermore, customers could only enter the casino by prior arrangement.

During searches at places of illegal business, law enforcement officers seized 40 amusement machines and computer terminals, accounting fraud and illegally obtained money.

Within the framework of criminal proceedings stipulated by Part 1 Art.203-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine the investigative actions are underway to establish all persons involved in the crime.

The operation was conducted jointly with the National Police.
