In Luhansk region, SBU officers stopped the illegal activity of officials of PLC Lysychanskvuhillya, who systematically embezzled the state funds allocated for employee’s salaries.

Law enforcement established that during 2017-2019 years the managers of PLC Lysychanskvuhillya unit fictitiously employed people who were actually working in Russia.

Officials deliberately entered into the official documents false information about their alleged work in PLC, and thereby misappropriated the salaries. Law enforcement officers documented that the officials embezzled over UAH 500,000 (USD 18,500) during this period.

The offenders received a notice of suspicion for misappropriation, embezzlement or conversion of property by malversation and for forgery in office.

The indictments were submitted to a court. The issue of removal of officials from their positions is being settled.

The operation was conducted jointly with the investigators of the National Police under the legal supervision of Lysychansk local Prosecutor’s Office.
