Ivano-Frankivsk region: SBU hands personal protective equipment over to hospitals
he Security Service of Ukraine handed personal protective equipment over to Department of Healthcare of Ivano-Frankivsk region.
The employees of the SBU Office in Ivano-Frankivsk region donated a one-day salary for aid in the fight against the coronavirus. Thanks to the campaign within the STOP COVID-19 initiative, circa UAH 260,000 (USD 9,600) was raised.
For this money, the charity fund “Malovnyche Prykarpattia", designated by the regional state administration for accumulation and distribution of assistance, has already purchased 1,000 protective overalls for more than UAH 150,000 (USD 5,500). Today the personal protective equipment has been transferred to the medical institutions of the region, which need them first. These include 16 health care and 5 social care facilities.
It should be emphasized, that this is not a one-time charitable assistance of the Service in the fight against the pandemic. Other necessary equipment will also be purchased for the rest of the hospitals in the near future.
