The SBU CI officers uncovered a General Director of one of Ukroboronprom state-owned enterprises, who gave an access to subordinate to work with secret documents. The validity of subordinate’s clearance has expired.

SBU investigators and operatives established that the Director was aware of that the Deputy Director on security issues did not have clearance. However, he continued to issue orders and impose resolutions for direct acquaintance and work with the documents. In particular, it included information about the development and manufacture of information security means for use by servicemen in the Joint Forces Operation area.

The official received a notice of suspicion within a criminal proceeding initiated for disclosure of state secrets.
