SSU Alfa unit ranks number one among Defence Forces for fourth consecutive month (video)
In June, our special forces unit maintained their lead and significantly increased the effectiveness with which they used fixed-wing aerial unmanned vehicles for deep and middle strikes. Meanwhile, the number of strikes on enemy command and observation posts, as well as manpower concentration areas, has significantly increased.
According to verified data, the SSU Special Operation Centre neutralised over 5,500 russian occupiers in June 2026.
The following military equipment was hit:
- 6,909 UAVs and ground-based robotic systems of various types;
- 2,402 vehicles;
- 1,722 antennas and communications nodes;
- 1,395 fortifications;
- 433 UAV crews;
- 161 depots containing ammunition and military equipment;
- 78 artillery systems and self-propelled guns;
- 34 radar and electronic warfare systems;
- 33 armoured vehicles (including 7 tanks and 26 armoured fighting vehicles);
- 16 multiple launch rocket systems;
- 14 air defence systems;
- 8 watercraft;
- 2 aircraft.
‘Our personnel are not merely maintaining a high level of effectiveness – they are increasing their capabilities every month, particularly in the fields of unmanned systems and long-range strikes. Each of these achievements is a response to the russian terror against Ukrainians. This is the SSU’s contribution to the strategy of compelling the aggressor to accept a just peace. We will continue to inflict significant losses on the enemy,’ said the SSU Acting Head Yevheniy Khmara.
