Enemy air defence systems worth USD 4 bln destroyed by SSU Alfa in 2025 (video)
Long-range strikes by the SSU Special Operations Centre Alfa are causing significant losses to key elements of russia’s echeloned air defence system. The total cost of enemy air defence systems destroyed or disabled over the past year is estimated at approximately USD 4 bln.
Particularly, the destruction of the following has been verified:
- S-300/S-350/S-400 systems
- Buk-M1/M2 anti-aircraft missile systems
- Pantsir-S1/S2 anti-aircraft missile and gun systems
- Tor-M1/M2/M3 anti-aircraft missile systems
The enemy’s radar reconnaissance and guidance systems suffered serious losses as well. The targets hit include radar stations and radars that are critical for detecting air targets and air defence operations:
- 55Zh6U Nebo-U/Nebo-M radar
- Podlet radar
- Niobium radar
- Kasta-2E2 radar
- Gamma-D radar
- Protivnik-GE radar
- radar equipment from Buk, S-300/S-400 air defence missile systems
- 92N6 radar and others
This work has had a systemic effect: the strikes have created corridors in russia’s multi-layered air defence system, ensuring safe passage for Ukrainian long-range drones deep into enemy territory – to military bases, depots, airfields, and other military installations.
