Strikes on schedule: first week results of SSU’s 40-day pressure campaign

Over the past week, the SSU Special Operations Centre Alfa has carried out 13 long- and medium-range strikes on key military targets behind enemy lines. This operation forms part of the 40-day campaign authorised by the President of Ukraine to put pressure on the aggressor state and compel russia to end the war.

The targets that were struck include:

Aviation:

  •       Saky Airfield: Hangars housing combat aircraft in temporarily occupied Crimea were hit. These housed Su-30SM and Su-30 fighter jets, as well as Su-24 frontline bombers. Each aircraft is estimated to be worth between USD 30 and 50 million.
  •       Hvardiyske Airfield: Hangars housing Shahed UAVs and aviation equipment were hit. This is one of the occupying forces’ key air bases in Crimea. Tactical aircraft regularly take off from there to carry out strikes on Ukrainian territory.

Oil infrastructure

  •       The St. Petersburg Oil Terminal: This is one of the largest oil and petroleum products transhipment complexes in north-western russia, with a throughput capacity of up to 12.5 million tonnes per year.
  •       The Nizhny Novgorod Oil Refinery and the Starolikeevo oil pumping station. The distance to the targets is approximately 850 km. The Nizhny Novgorod Oil Refinery is one of russia’s largest oil refining enterprises and produces fuel for the russian armed forces, in particular.
  •       The Yaroslavl Oil Refinery and the Yaroslavl line production and control station. The distance to the Ukrainian state border is over 700 km. The refinery is one of the largest in russia, processing around 15 million tonnes of crude oil per year.
  •       Drones also carried out strikes on the First Plant refinery in the Kaluga region.
  •       The oil loading terminal at the Vysotsk Seaport, located in the Leningrad oblast, russia. This is one of russia’s most important terminals on the Baltic Sea.
  •       A tank containing petroleum products and a pumping station were also attacked at the TES-Terminal-1 oil depot in Kerch.

Command posts and military infrastructure

  • A command post for one of the unmanned aerial vehicle strike systems in the Mykolaiv sector.
  • Fuel and lubricant depots in Crimea.
  • A key communications hub on one of the enemy’s attack routes in the Huliaipole area.

The strikes have significantly hampered the resupply of russian units on the front line, disrupting logistics and the supply of ammunition and fuel. Furthermore, the enemy has suffered casualties among its personnel in unmanned systems and logistical support units.

These strikes are a just response to russian crimes and the constant bombardment of Ukrainian cities. The Security Service of Ukraine will reach the enemy anywhere!
