On December 22, 2020, the Ukrainian scientific and research institute of special equipment and forensic expertise of the Security Service of Ukraine (ISEE SSU) received a certificate of membership of the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI).

The Institute has taken all necessary measures and undergone appropriate procedures. Therefore, ISEE SSU is Ukraine’s only representative in the famous international organization.

The ETSI membership gives the right to vote on the adoption of new regulations in telecommunication standardization, as well as to formulate and include requirements in technical specifications. Joining the organization also gives an opportunity to implement common policy together with equipment manufacturers and telecom providers dealing with legal interception of information, cybersecurity, introduction of up-to-date communication technologies and other advanced technologies.
